In January 2017 Al Jazeera's undercover documentary 'The Lobby' recorded Shai Masot, a political officer at the Israeli embassy in London, discussing plans to 'take down' British politicians, including then-minister Sir Alan Duncan, a critic of Israeli settlements. The Israeli embassy apologised and Masot left his post.
