La 'misura' e' il sistema europeo Entry/Exit System (EES). Con lettera del 1 luglio 2026 indirizzata alla Commissione europea, le associazioni del settore aereo - Airlines for Europe (A4E), ACI Europe e IATA - hanno chiesto la flessibilita' per sospendere completamente i controlli EES 'almeno per tutti i mesi di luglio e agosto' quando i volumi di passeggeri superano la capacita' operativa dei valichi. Richiesta confermata da Euronews e dalla stampa di settore.
