How the service works
Cryterio is built around a few precise choices: cover the broadcasts that matter, verify them once, valid for every viewer. These are choices that determine the quality of the service and its price.
An editorially curated schedule
The editorial team selects public broadcasts for their news value, independently of subscriber numbers. Newsrooms can also arrange coverage of specific events: see <a href='/redazioni'>For newsrooms</a>.
One job, a thousand viewers
Each broadcast is verified only once: the fact-check timeline is computed once and streamed to every connected browser. The same verification serves a thousand viewers or one: we compute it once and show it to everyone in real time.
Local transcription
Audio is transcribed on our servers. For extraction and fact-checking, text may be processed by external language-model providers, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Clear prices, all included
Invite-only access is free throughout the beta. To continue with a paid plan after the beta, choose a plan and complete activation through Revolut. The subscription trial lasts 7 days with no charge; renewal is then automatic unless cancelled. Individuals: €99/month, personal use only. Professional: €349/month, with a professional licence, field tools, export and searchable archive. Studio and Organisation include up to 3 and 10 seats respectively. Prices exclude VAT; annual plans have a 15% discount. All prices.
Caution is part of the product
When the evidence isn't enough, the verdict is non_verificabile, and the judgements are always anchored to the source data, never to the person. It's not commercial timidity: it's how a fact-check stays useful and defensible. We explain it in the ethical principles.
